My cake sculpting commisions have given me the opportunity to interpret my clients vision and deliver to a deadline. Six years ago a friend asked me to use my creativity to create a special birthday cake for her sons 18th. I thought, it can't be much different to sculpting with clay. However, there were challenges and techniques to learn. As I honed my skills I took on new challenges and accepted more complicated designs to tackle. It was a huge success and my cakes not only look good, they taste great. I have been sculpting cakes for friends and family for the last 6 years.
