Witches Grimoire

Inspired by Hocus Pocus Book

BooooooooOOOOOK! This is one of my favourite film props. This version has been created by taking an old book, sticking all of the pages together and then carving out a space inside. (It's a long laborious process). The cover was created using tissue and glue making it look like skin and then a 3D paint to create the stiches. The eye is a pre-fabricated plastic one that I bought on-line. The additional decoration is made out of air drying clay and it is all painted with acrylics.
The first tester book was simply using a sketch book to trial the effects I wanted to use.
